De-Addiction Counselling

De-Addiction Counseling Subhashan Foundation offers confidential, non-judgmental counseling and rehabilitation support for individuals struggling with alcohol, drug, and other substance use issues, as well as their families. The approach combines emotional support, psychological therapies, and community linkages so that recovery becomes safe, structured, and sustainable. Our team focuses on the whole person – physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being – using individual counseling, group work, family sessions, and referral to medical or rehabilitation services when needed.

Services are aligned with national de-addiction and rehabilitation efforts to make help accessible and affordable for all. About Our De-Addiction ProgramAddiction is now recognized as a treatable health condition, not a moral failure, and effective help is available at every stage from early risky use to severe dependence. Subhashan Foundation’s de-addiction program is built on empathy, scientific methods, and community participation to support long-term recovery. The program integrates counseling, behavior-change therapies, relapse-prevention planning, and family support, with strong collaboration with local hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and government-supported facilities where required. This continuum of care helps clients move step-by-step from crisis to stability, and then towards purposeful living and social reintegration.

  • Motivation enhancement and relapse-prevention planning using approaches like motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
  • Referrals and linkages to detoxification, in-patient rehabilitation, and government-recognized Integrated Rehabilitation Centres for Addicts (IRCAs), as clinically indicated.
  • Community awareness programs, school/college sessions, and workplace sensitization on substance use and early intervention.

Our Counseling Approach: Counselors use evidence-informed methods such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral strategies, and skills training to help clients understand triggers, manage cravings, and build healthier habits. Sessions are conducted in a safe, confidential, and stigma-free environment, respecting the dignity and pace of each person. Alongside one-to-one work, the Foundation encourages family involvement, peer support, and aftercare follow-up, which are critical to reducing relapse risk and improving long-term outcomes in addiction recovery. Where appropriate, clients are guided to self-help groups and community resources so that support continues beyond formal counseling. Emergency Help and Helplines If someone is in immediate danger due to overdose, severe withdrawal, or self-harm risk, urgent medical care at the nearest hospital is essential. For additional support and crisis guidance, national and state-level de-addiction helplines such as the 14446 Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan toll-free number can be contacted, and Subhashan Foundation can assist with follow-up counseling and referrals. Subhashan Foundation encourages individuals and families not to wait for “rock bottom”; early counseling and honest conversations can prevent escalation, protect health, and restore relationships.
